Study in Romania Student Ambassador Programme – Applications Open

The Study in Romania Student Ambassador Programme (SiR-SAP) is now open for applications, offering students the opportunity to promote Romanian higher education and represent the Study in Romania brand internationally.

The programme is part of the “Romania towards 2030: Enhancing International Relevance through Internationalization of Higher Education” project, coordinated by UEFISCDI in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research. The initiative aims to strengthen Romania’s international visibility as a higher education destination and promote study opportunities at Romanian universities to prospective students worldwide.

The programme will select five enthusiastic students who will act as ambassadors for Romanian higher education, sharing their experiences and helping international prospective students discover the academic opportunities available in Romania.

Selection timeline:

• Application launch: 29 July 2026
• Application deadline: 12 August 2026, 4:00 PM
• Evaluation and pre-selection results: 13–19 August 2026, 4:00 PM
• Interviews: 20 August 2026
• Final selection announcement: 24 August 2026
