POLITEHNICA Bucharest Welcomes Professor Mauro Scungio from the University of Tuscia

Between 8 and 10 April 2026, POLITEHNICA Bucharest welcomed Mauro Scungio, Associate Professor of Thermal Engineering and Industrial Energy Systems at the School of Engineering, University of Tuscia, Italy.

During his visit, Professor Scungio met with Prof. Bogdan Grămescu, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, Prof. Marilena Stoica, Vice-Dean for Internationalization, and Prof. Nicolae Stoica, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic cooperation between the two institutions.

Discussions focused on the continued development of the Double Degree Programme in Mechanical Engineering – Integrated Mechanical Engineering Design, aimed at providing students with an international academic experience and opportunities to study within both partner institutions.

The visit reinforces the commitment of POLITEHNICA Bucharest and the University of Tuscia to strengthening international academic cooperation and creating new opportunities for students in engineering education.
