POLITEHNICA Bucharest Student Selection for GENIUS Project
National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest invites its second and third-year students to participate in the selection contest for the GENIUS Project (Gamified Education for Next International University Students), an international initiative under the EELISA European University alliance. This selection process offers students the chance to represent the university in the next stage of the project, hosted by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
The GENIUS Project aims to promote academic excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and international networking through a gamified competition that challenges students’ knowledge and problem-solving abilities in key technical fields. Participation in this initiative provides students with an opportunity to engage with peers from across Europe, broaden their academic perspectives, and gain valuable international experience.
Eligibility and Competition Format
The selection contest at POLITEHNICA Bucharest is open to second and third-year students from all specializations, provided they possess a good command of English. The competition will consist of a written exam featuring multiple-choice quizzes covering three core disciplines: Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Each quiz question will offer several options, with only one correct answer.
The selection serves as an internal qualifying round. Students who achieve the highest results will advance to represent POLITEHNICA Bucharest in the next phase of the GENIUS Project competition, which will take place in Madrid.
Participants are encouraged to consult the official list of topics in preparation for the contest. The full list can be accessed here.
