POLITEHNICA Bucharest Participates in Transport Research Arena 2026
POLITEHNICA Bucharest was represented by Florin Nemtanu, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Transport, as part of the Romanian delegation at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026, held in Budapest from 18 to 21 May 2026.
The conference brought together researchers, industry experts, policymakers and other stakeholders from around the world to discuss the future of sustainable, smart and resilient mobility.
POLITEHNICA Bucharest's participation reflects the university's commitment to advancing European transport research and supporting innovation in areas such as digitalisation, intelligent transport systems and sustainable mobility solutions.
The event also provided an opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, exchange expertise with specialists from across Europe and highlight the research and academic contributions of the Faculty of Transport.
Through its participation in TRA 2026, POLITEHNICA Bucharest contributed to the international dialogue on the future of mobility and to the development of innovative and sustainable transport solutions.
