POLITEHNICA Bucharest Participates in NAFSA 2026 Annual Conference & Expo

POLITEHNICA Bucharest continued its international engagement by participating in the NAFSA 2026 Annual Conference & Expo, held in Orlando, Florida, from 26 to 29 May 2026.

The university was represented by Vice-Rector Valentin Năvrăpescu at the Study in Romania booth, organized by the National Council of Rectors (CNR).

The conference brought together higher education leaders and international education professionals from around the world, providing opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen existing partnerships and explore new opportunities for academic and research collaboration.

Held under the theme “Global by Design,” the 2026 edition highlighted the importance of strategic international collaboration and innovative approaches to addressing the evolving opportunities and challenges facing higher education.

Participation in NAFSA 2026 contributed to POLITEHNICA Bucharest's continued efforts to expand its international network and develop meaningful partnerships that create new opportunities for students, researchers and academic staff worldwide.

The NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo remains an important international platform for dialogue, networking and cooperation in the field of international education.
