POLITEHNICA Bucharest at Academic and Research Collaboration Meeting in London

On 18 April 2026, the Embassy of Romania in the United Kingdom organized a meeting with Romanian professors and researchers based in the UK, together with representatives of the academic community from Romania.

Held in London, the meeting provided an opportunity for academic dialogue and for identifying concrete opportunities for collaboration in education and research.

POLITEHNICA Bucharest was represented by Professor Iovu Horia, Vice-Rector and Director of the Council for Doctoral Studies, who presented the university's main research directions and collaborative projects developed through European programmes.

The meeting contributed to strengthening connections between Romanian and UK-based academics and researchers and to exploring new opportunities for institutional and research cooperation.
