FutureShapers Camp 2026 Brings Academic Excellence and Industry Innovation Together

From 23 to 28 August 2026, international students gathered at POLITEHNICA Bucharest for an intensive week dedicated to engineering, creativity, networking and teamwork as part of FutureShapers Camp 2026.

The programme was built on a strong partnership between POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Groupe INSA, EELISA – European University and Honeywell, bringing together academic expertise, European collaboration and industry experience.

Throughout the six-day programme, participants progressed from project ideation and company immersion to intensive development sessions and pitch presentations. The programme also included discovery tours of POLITEHNICA Bucharest’s research institutes and university heritage, providing students with insights into both the academic and industrial dimensions of engineering.

The collaboration between academic and industry partners created an environment where students could develop practical skills, exchange ideas across borders and explore innovative approaches to real-world challenges.

FutureShapers Camp 2026 highlighted the value of connecting higher education, research and industry in preparing the next generation of engineers to develop sustainable solutions for the future.
