Call for Contributions – 5th Symposium of Francophone Scientific Research in Central and Eastern Europe

The call for contributions is now open for the 5th Symposium of Francophone Scientific Research in Central and Eastern Europe, taking place in Bucharest in November 2026.

The symposium is co-organised by the Embassy of France in Romania, AUF – Central and Eastern Europe, the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), the Embassy of Switzerland and the Embassy of Canada.

The event provides an international platform for researchers, PhD students and early-career academics to present their work, exchange ideas and develop new academic collaborations. Contributions are welcome on exploratory projects, ongoing research, preliminary results or completed studies across various fields.

Participants can benefit from:

• Free participation, including registration, lunches, coffee breaks and university dormitory accommodation;
• Publication opportunities, with accepted papers published in digital proceedings with an ISSN;
• an online pre-event training session on science communication;
• opportunities for international networking and collaboration, particularly for PhD students and early-career researchers.
