35th Annual EAIE Conference

Between 9-2 September 2025, the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest took part in the 35th Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition, held in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The event brought together thousands of higher education professionals from around the world to exchange best practices, explore new collaborations, and discuss the future of global education.

The university was represented by:

  • - Mr. Horia Necula, Vice-Rector for International Relations

  • - Mrs. Virginia Petre, Lecturer at the Faculty of Energy Engineering

  • - Ms. Beatrice Uța, International Relations Department

Their participation reaffirmed POLITEHNICA Bucharest’s ongoing commitment to advancing international cooperation, academic mobility, and research partnerships.

Fostering Global Partnerships

Throughout the conference, the POLITEHNICA delegation engaged in productive meetings with both long-standing partners and new collaborators, including Groupe INSA (INSA Rennes), Grenoble INP – Ensimag, ECAM Brussels Engineering School, ECAM LaSalle, Télécom Paris, ENSEA Cergy, École nationale supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (ENSAM), and the University of Salerno, among others.

The discussions focused on expanding student mobility opportunities, developing joint research initiatives, and identifying new areas of cooperation within European and international frameworks such as Erasmus+ and EELISA Alliance.

An International Platform for Innovation and Collaboration

The EAIE Annual Conference and Exhibition remains one of the most significant events dedicated to internationalization in higher education, gathering university leaders, policymakers, and academic professionals to share experiences and strategies for global engagement.

Participation in this year’s edition strengthened POLITEHNICA Bucharest’s international visibility and its role as a key partner within the global academic community.
