Challenges in geohydrological risk management

Are you curious, concerned, or passionate about the powerful and often destructive force of water? 

We invite you to join an exciting EELISA European University challenge-based learning activity that focuses on tackling geohydrological risks and enhancing resilience against floods. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively and develop real-world disaster management solutions in response to the growing threats posed by climate change.

What to Expect

This immersive experience will allow you to apply advanced tools like cartography, remote sensing, and GIS to protect vulnerable communities and infrastructure from flood risks. As the world faces increasing climate-related vulnerabilities, learning how to manage these risks is more important than ever. By participating, you'll have the chance to:

- Collaborate with participants from diverse academic backgrounds;

- Develop practical solutions to manage flood-related disasters;

- Build resilience in local and global communities.

For three selected students from POLITEHNICA Bucharest, travel costs will be fully covered by the university through the EELISA project.
