Boosting Frontier Research in Romania

POLITEHNICA Bucharest, in partnership with the European Research Council (ERC), is organizing the high-level event “Boosting Frontier Research in Romania”, dedicated to strengthening fundamental research and promoting academic excellence in Romania.

The event will provide an opportunity to explore how researchers in Romania can make the most of the funding opportunities and advanced instruments offered by the ERC, as well as how ambitious research projects can access the resources needed to achieve significant scientific impact.

The event will feature Maria Leptin, President of the European Research Council, as Guest of Honour, alongside representatives of the ERC, leading researchers and ERC grant beneficiaries. The speakers will share experiences, best practices and successful strategies for securing funding for frontier research.

The event will be held at POLITEHNICA Bucharest and will also be streamed online, allowing participants to follow the discussions and presentations remotely.
