Description
The Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Products Master programm judiciously focuses on a multidisciplinary training through a balanced teaching between organic chemistry applied to personnal care and pharmaceutical products, analytical methods, natural products suitable for phramaceutical or cosmetic applications as well as cosmetic and pharmaceutical technology, including regulation matters. It aims to answer to an ever increasing personal deficit (up to 35% by 2030) in the continuously growing (11-12% per year) pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, as well as in their R&D sector.

Objectives:
Graduates of the Master programm are expected to have sufficient general knowledge in different areas of pharmaceutical and cosmetic sciences and to be able to meet all related needs of the field and those of society.
Broad-based and Advanced Knowledge Development: This programm aims to provide scientific knowledge on the personal care and pharmaceutical products, raw synthetic and natural materials, formulations, quality control, GMPs etc.
Practical Training: The Master programm insures gainig laboratory practice experience through assisted laboratory activities, as well as innovative research studies
Innovation Focus: Graduates will be able to answer to the numerous problems of the pharmaceutical and cosmetics in dustries, but also tackle the challenges of a R&D work.
Job Opportunities: Pharmaceutical industry; Cosmetics industry; Biotechnology; Drug and Cosmetic Regulations.

Ingredients/Formulation and Good Manufacturing Practice Rules for Production, Analysis, Conditioning and Marketing of Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Products – 28 h course + 14 h project
Odorants and Colorants for Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Products – 28 h course + 14 h laboratory
Ethics and academic integrity – 14 h course
Research Practice – 168 h laboratory work under a supervising professor
2nd semester is enterily dedicated to the completion of the research topic initiated during the 1st semester
