Advanced Micro and Nanocomposites
Description
The Advanced Micro and Nanocomposites (AMNC) master's program trains specialists with advanced expertise in the design, characterization, and application of micro- and nanostructured composite materials in strategic fields such as healthcare, aerospace, energy, and sustainable construction. The program combines a solid foundation of multidisciplinary knowledge (advanced chemistry, materials physics, process engineering, and sustainability) with intensive research and laboratory work in modern facilities, preparing graduates for careers in research, development, and innovation, as well as for high-level technical positions in multinational companies and research institutes, both nationally and internationally.
Objectives:
* Develop advanced knowledge of composition–structure–property relationships in multifunctional micro- and nanocomposite materials.
* Master modern synthesis, processing, and characterization technologies for ceramic and polymeric nanocomposites.
* Build strong skills in computational design and numerical simulation of advanced composite materials.
* Design sustainable solutions for valorizing industrial waste and creating composite materials with reduced carbon footprint.
* Prepare students to publish scientific results in academic journals and to manage research and innovation projects in advanced materials.
Other Information
AMNC stands out through its strong research component, modern laboratory infrastructure and applied curriculum focused specifically on advanced micro and nanocomposites. The program is designed as a natural continuation for graduates interested in nanoscience, advanced materials, and engineering innovation, while also supporting access to international opportunities through English-taught study and industry-oriented collaboration.
