Outgoing ERASMUS+

The ERASMUS+ Teaching program is designed for teaching staff to conduct teaching missions at a partner university, based on an inter-institutional agreement, from a EU or non-EU member country.

The duration of a teaching assignment is one week, comprising 8 hours of teaching.

General information about the ERASMUS+ program can be found on the website of the National Agency for Community Programs in the Field of Education and Vocational Training.

Preparation for mobility

In obtaining ERASMUS+ funding for a teaching or training mobility, the travel request is completed on the TRAVEL.UPB.RO platform (at least 20 days before the travel date), and the following documents are uploaded:

  • The invitation from the partner university includes the name and surname of the teaching staff (academic personnel) and the period of travel (exact dates day/month/year) within the ERASMUS+ program.
  • The teaching program where the start date of the mobility must be the first day of physical presence activity, and the end date must be after the last day of activity where the participant must be present at the host institution.
  • Bank statement specifying the IBAN of the Euro account (a personal current account in EURO opened at BCR where the allocated amount for travel will be transferred).
  • Copy of ID or Passport.

  • Confirmation of the correctness of completing the travel request with the employees of the Erasmus+ Office of POLITEHNICA Bucharest.
  • Purchasing the transport ticket to the mobility destination where the outbound transport will take place before the first day of activity stated in the Teaching Program, and the return transport will take place after the last day of activity mentioned in the Teaching Program.
  • Signing the financial contract at the Erasmus+ Office of POLITEHNICA Bucharest. A copy of the contract remains with the teaching staff, to be aware of the supporting documents they must present at the end of the mobility.

The reimbursement must be processed within a maximum of 3 working days from the date of arrival in the country. For this purpose, you must present yourself at the Erasmus+ Office with the reimbursement documents mentioned in the financial contract.

After the mobility

For reimbursement at the Erasmus+ Office, you need to submit the following documents:

  • Certificate issued by the host university, in original, confirming the completion of the work program (8 hours/week) – VERY IMPORTANT!
  • The ONLINE feedback form regarding the activities within the ERASMUS mobility. The link to this form is received on the last day of the mobility.
  • Comments on the efficiency of the trips (as a response to the score requested by the European Commission). Briefly describe the content of the mobility and address the following points in the
