Revolutionizing STEM Education: The Official Launch of the GENIUS Project

The Faculty of Applied Sciences at Universitatea POLITEHNICA din București is proud to invite students, faculty members, and education enthusiasts to the official launch of the GENIUS (Gamified Education for Next International University Students) project. This ambitious initiative, part of the 4th EELISA Joint Call, is set to transform STEM education by introducing innovative learning strategies.

What is the GENIUS Project?

GENIUS is an international collaboration under the EELISA European University Alliance, coordinated by POLITEHNICA Bucharest in partnership with:
🔸 Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME)
🔸 Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM)
🔸 İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi (ITU)

Spanning from November 2024 to June 2025, the project seeks to redefine the way students engage with mathematics, physics, engineering, and IT through:
🎮 Gamified learning – Making education more interactive and enjoyable
📱 Integration of advanced ICT technologies – Enhancing digital learning experiences
📚 Interdisciplinary competitions and interactive activities – Encouraging collaboration and problem-solving
