Erasmus Generation Meeting Bucharest 2023

University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest hosted, between the 6th to the 9th of April 2023, the second edition of the “𝗘𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗺𝘂𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗘𝗚𝗠)”, the biggest conference where the Erasmus Generation met to learn and discuss the future of mobility in Europe and beyond.

The central theme of the EGM 2023 was 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬. The event gathered internationally-minded young people, as well as important stakeholders in the field of international mobility and higher education - and also UPB students and staff.

The participants had the opportunity to learn more about different mobility programmes, the role the various stakeholders, including the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), have in the internationalisation of higher education and society, and much more. It was a great chance to gain new perspectives and insights, develop fresh ideas, expand your network, and much more!

        More than 900 Erasmus+ alumni participated in different activities throughout the event:

- Opening sessions & activities

- Parallel sessions

- EGM Expo

Each evening the participants dined together, danced, and shared their experience to learn from each other what actions they can take to improve their work, and how to further develop and market the skills they developed through their international experience.
