Beyond Horizons in Space: From Academia to Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Romania and the Embassy of Romania to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in partnership with the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest organized the event „𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩”. 

The event brought together speakers from the Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digitalization, Presidents of the Space Agencies from Romania and Luxembourg, European leaders in the space industry, and students involved in startup development. They engaged in discussions and stayed updated on the latest developments in aerospace technology, research, and industry trends, tackling some of the world’s greatest challenges through innovation in space technology.

The event was a great opportunity to get a closer look at the latest advancements in aerospace technology, research, and trends in space exploration, as well as the challenges faced by this industry and the opportunities it offers to young engineers.

As part of the event, representatives from the Space Agencies of Romania and Luxembourg signed a Cooperation Agreement in the field of space sciences, sustainable development, and industrial collaboration.
