What to expect from our International Summer School 2023?
The summer school organized by POLITEHNICA Bucharest and INSA Group offers a unique opportunity for intellectual exploration and cultural enrichment, with the special participation and support of Honeywell.
The students from Bachelor and Master levels from POLITEHNICA Bucharest and INSA Group will participate in exciting projects, experience an interactive learning environment, benefit from Honeywell trainers' rich and relevant expertise, and participate in a Hackathon. The event is at the the 4th edition, and this year we launch the competition together with Honeywell, our traditional partner.
The Summer School will be more than just taking a course: it will be the chance to stand out to potential employers while tapping into state-of-the-art technology. It will also be a great opportunity to participate in a competition and work in teams to win special prizes
The schedule is divided into two sessions: one week in July (2 hours a day module) with online sessions delivered by Honeywell and the second session in the last week of August, with face-to-face activities and a Hackathon held at the National Univeristy of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest.

- 28 August-1 September 2023 - Face-to-face activities and Hackathon (POLITEHNICA Bucharest Central Library).
PROGRAM FEE
Participation in the summer school is free of charge!- Interaction with Honeywell experts with key technical and business background;
- Great opportunity to learn about the latest technologies in a Top 100 US company;
- Getting to know about real-life state-of-the-art products and projects;
- Special open session prepared by Honeywell HR professionals.
- Accommodation and meals;
- Talks and training offered by partner experts;
- Cultural and scientific activities;
- One day trip to the Romanian mountains.
All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation and prizes, and the Best Team will win a Special Prize in the Hackathon.

- Prepare a motivation letter and an updated CV and fill in the application form;
- Provide a certificate of English and/or French proficiency level (B2 CEFR) or a transcript showing that you have taken courses in French or English in high school or university for at least two years;
- An academic average of at least 8.00 constitutes an advantage;
- A short abstract on one of the topics of the program. The selected ones will be printed and posted during the summer school.
Due to capacity limitations, selection criteria will focus on the motivation and the background of the students.

À quoi s’attendre de notre école d’été internationale 2023 ?
L’école d’été organisée par POLITEHNICA Bucarest et INSA Group offre une occasion unique d’exploration intellectuelle et d’enrichissement culturel, avec la participation et le soutien particuliers de Honeywell.
Les étudiants des niveaux Licence et Master de POLITEHNICA Bucarest et du Groupe INSA participeront à des projets passionnants, feront l’expérience d’un environnement d’apprentissage interactif, bénéficieront de l’expertise riche et pertinente des formateurs Honeywell et participeront à un Hackathon.
L’événement est à la 4ème édition, et cette année, nous lançons le concours avec Honeywell, notre partenaire traditionnel.
L’école d’été sera plus qu’un simple cours : ce sera l’occasion de se démarquer auprès d’employeurs potentiels tout en exploitant une haute technologie et d’avoir l’occasion de participer à un concours tout en travaillant en équipe et en remportant des prix spéciaux.
Le programme est divisé en deux semaines : une semaine en juillet (modules de 2 heures par jour) avec des sessions en ligne offertes par Honeywell et l’autre dans la dernière semaine d’août avec des activités en face à face et un Hackathon à Université Nationale de Science et Technologie POLITEHNICA Bucarest.

Tous les étudiants participants recevront un Certificate of Participation.

- Préparer une lettre de motivation et un CV mis à jour et remplir le formulaire de candidature;
- Fournir un certificat de niveau de compétence en anglais ou en français (B2 CECR) ou un relevé de notes attestant que vous avez suivi des cours en français ou en anglais au secondaire ou à l’université pendant au moins deux ans;
- Une moyenne académique d’au moins 8,00 constitue un avantage;
- Un court résumé sur l’un des sujets du programme. Ceux sélectionnés seront imprimés et affichés pendant l’école d’été.
En raison des limites de capacité, les critères de sélection se concentreront sur la motivation et les antécédents de l’étudiant.
