One such project is the E2 Center, developed in partnership with the Government of the United States of America and Nuclearelectrica (one of the main energy providers in Romania).

POLITEHNICA Bucharest is host of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre and Network. The ECCC's mission is to facilitate innovation and industrial policy in the field of cybersecurity, as well as to oversee related development and coordination projects across the EU. It is also responsible for distributing EU and national funding for cybersecurity research projects across the bloc.

The center is home to a team of experts in cybersecurity from across the EU. It also works closely with several other cybersecurity organizations, including the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Commission. The ECCC's work is helping to improve the cybersecurity of the EU and its citizens.

Another example is the Training Center for Renewable Energy Sources, developed in partnership with Honeywell, or the Crystal System Industry 4.0 laboratory – a facility dedicated to training specialists for the emergence of Industry 4.0.

Other examples include the Laboratory for Training Specialists in Data Analysis – established in partnership with SAS, one of the most renowned global data analysis companies, and the Advanced Control Systems Laboratory, opened in partnership with Honeywell, fully equipped with state-of-the-art automation solutions.

Among the benefits available to the university's 40,000 students are now internship partnerships with over 1,000 companies, and access – during their studies – to laboratories dedicated to the most sought-after fields in the industry (Living Labs, Crystal System Industry 4.0 Laboratory, Orange 5G Labs, Smart City laboratories, SAS Laboratory, Google Tech Lab, Siemens Laboratory, Vodafone Laboratory, and many more).
