Admission Procedure

Preparatory Year - Romanian Language at UPB

Enrollment period: 15 May - 31 August

This study program is aimed at foreign students who do not speak Romanian and wish to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The course lasts an academic year (two semesters). After passing the exams in all studied disciplines, at the end of the preparatory year the students receive a graduation certificate, necessary to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Romania.

UPB Collaboration with International Associations

UPB has been a member of CESAER (Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research) since 2002. Due to CESAER Work Plan from 2020 to 2021, UPB was elected to lead the Task Force Learning and Teaching for the next two years. The first meeting led by UPB took place online on the 6th of April with the main topics: the impact and outcomes of COVID-19 crisis on higher education, scholarship programme offer, the position of the association on European Education Area and European Universities.

On May 19th, UPB Rector was invited as a speaker at the webinar "PHE in the time of Coronavirus: threats and opportunities" organized by EURASHE (European Association of Institutions in Higher Education). UPB has shared its experience and response plan to the COVID-19 crisis with the partner universities and it has also exchanged good practices.

Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest invite you to register for the 2nd edition of the UPB&AUF Summer School held between 6-8 July 2020.

What do we have in store for you? A 3 - day event full of challenges, two webinars focused on Sustainable Development and a competition dedicated to the students from the AUF member universities.
