On October 26, Mr. Mihnea Costoiu, UPB Rector and CESAER Vice President, participated in the online General Assembly
 
 
UPB Rector has advocated the need to encourage more partnerships among the universities of Science and Technology and to develop activities in order to build and strengthen the CESAER community.

Mr. Costoiu emphasized that especially now during the Covid pandemic, CESAER should unite forces and use information technology in order to build strong education and research platforms. By using IoT, member universities should create digital platforms and a large digital research laboratory, where they could share resources and even research infrastructure outputs.

 
 
 
The University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, together with the European Space Agency, launched the ESA_Lab@UPB, within the webinar dedicated to UPB students on October 27.
 
The concept of ESA_Lab@ was developed by ESA in order to inspire future researchers and engineers to take part in peaceful space exploration activities and the resulting cross-cutting applications, such as: telecommunications, 5G, climate change monitoring Earth observation, satellite navigation, (cyber)security, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, eHealth, Internet of Things, space economy etc., to the benefit of both organizations and society.
 
 
The UPB representatives for International Relations have presented the opportunities and the challenges of the future students who choose to take advantage of the full power of international mobility as a driver of the higher education development.

Promoting University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in Asia
 
On September 26, University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest has participated at the 1st Digital Edition of Study in Europe Fair, an event that connected students from Singapore with European Universities.
 
 
This autumn, the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest appeared for several times in China Daily. The role of these media appearances is to attract more students from Asia and to increase the international cooperation.

The Romanian language study program is aimed at foreign students who do not speak Romanian and wish to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The course lasts an academic year (two semesters). After passing the exams in all studied disciplines, at the end of the preparatory year the students receive a graduation certificate, necessary to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Romania.
