Between 30-31 January 2020, UPB was the host of the FUTURE OF HIGHER EDUCATION - BOLOGNA
PROCESS RESEARCHERS' CONFERENCE (4TH EDITION)

It was an event full of meetings, debates and parallel sessions. At the end, the participants could also join the artistic program offered by the students from the National University of Music Bucharest and National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale".

UPB has received the visit of our new partners, Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University from Turkmenistan.

The delegation was led by the Turkmen Vice-Rector, Mr. Hydyrguly Kadyrov and the topic of the round table discussion was: "Scientific-technical policy of Neutral Turkmenistan: importance of Turkmen-Romanian relations".

"The rules of residence in Romania" Conference

The event was organized in partnership with the Embassy of Tunisia in Roumanie. Mr. Mihnea Costoiu, UPB Rector, E.S. Ms Raja Jhinaoui Ben Ali, Tunisia's ambassador to Romania, Mr. Mohamed ketata, Regional Director of AUF and representatives of the General Immigration Inspectorate spoke and answered questions from students.

Preparatory Year - Romanian Language at UPB

Enrollment period: 15 May - 31 August

This study program is aimed at foreign students who do not speak Romanian and wish to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The course lasts an academic year (two semesters). After passing the exams in all studied disciplines, at the end of the preparatory year the students receive a graduation certificate, necessary to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Romania.

UPB together with UNATC - University of Theatre and Film ”I.L. Caragiale” organizes the MA programme „Tehnologii multimedia pentru producţia de conţinut în domeniul audiovizualului şi comunicaţiilor” (Multimedia Technologies for the Audiovisual and Communications Content Production).

Și eu am fost la UPB’ & Journée tunisienne à l’UPB

University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest invites you to be part of the event ‘‘Și eu am fost la UPB’ & Journée tunisienne à l’UPB” on March 23 at 12:00 AM, where you will be able to show us who you really are and talk about your own country and its culture. The event will host a food and folk costumes exhibition offered by the Embassy of Tunisia in Romania.

University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest organizes between 26 and 28 of March, 2020, the 9th edition of POLIFEST, a national and international recognized "brand" of our university.
POLIFEST represented another kind of contact, a different approach and openness towards the economic and social environment. Since the first edition, the event was a real success, both as a participation and in terms of its content, materialized trough the elaboration of collaborative protocols in the educational field and the research activity.

The official opening of the event will take place on March 26, at 10:00 am, at the UPB Rectorate, in the AN 010, "Radu Voinea" Amphitheater

Between May 25-30, the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers organizes the French-Romanian Summer School on Advanced Control of Systems and New Information Technologies (CA’NTI) 2020. Skills in Matlab or Python and programming are required for participating at this school.

Between June 22 and July 3, INSA Rouen, a traditional partner of UPB, organizes a summer school with the topic “Artificial Intelligence”. You can find more information at:https://www.insa-rouen.fr/internation/programmes-internationaux-et-programmes-courts/summer-school.

Between July 6-12, UPB will organize the 2nd summer school, dedicated to the French speaking students from the universities belonging to the AUF Network. The languages of the summer school (conferences, visits, entertainment) are French and English.

The University Agency of La Francophonie in Central and Eastern Europe (AUF ECO) and the French Institute of Romania are hosting the 4th edition of the Ma thesis contest in 180 Seconds, which will take place in 2020 throughout Romania!
