The University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, together with Euronews, has signed a partnership to launch Euronews Romania, a brand-new independent news channel.

The new media outlet will be brought to millions of households, delivering local, regional and international news on TV and digital platforms in the Romanian language.

By providing a quality source of unbiased information to an audience that needs it more than ever, Euronews Romania is more than a media achievement, it is also an educational initiative that aims to improve the social engagement of citizens.

University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, together with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania, has been the host of the conference dedicated to the close bilateral relations between UPB and Turkmen higher education institutions.

The opening speech was held by Mr. Mihnea COSTOIU, UPB Rector, and by His Excellency Mr. Annamammet Annayev, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania.
Mr. Costoiu pointed out the tight relationship between the two countries as well as on the UPB strategies on boosting cooperation with international key partners.

At the event were present members of the diplomatic corps in Romania as well as Romanian officials. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the people present at the event, especially during these difficult times for humanity. This is another proof that only by practising a sense of togetherness can we create strong communities.
 
 
On December 3, the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest organized the Virtual International Students' Day event dedicated to the UPB international students.
 
Even in times of pandemic, students were constantly informed about the facilities offered by UPB, as well as the benefits of mobility programs, internships, international events such as summer schools and much more.

Promoting University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in Asia
 
This autumn, the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest has appeared for several times in China Daily, the newspaper with the widest print circulation of any English-language newspaper in China.

The purpose of these media appearances is to attract more students from Asia and to increase the international cooperation.
 
 
The Romanian language study program is aimed at foreign students who do not speak Romanian and wish to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The course lasts an academic year (two semesters). After passing the exams in all studied disciplines, at the end of the preparatory year the students receive a graduation certificate, necessary to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Romania.
