University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and Technion - Israel Institute of Technology signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishing collaboration between the two academic institutions. The MOU will support educational and scientific cooperation, as well as promote student exchange.

Mr. Mihnea Costoiu, UPB Rector, received the visit of Her Excellency, Mrs. Raja Jhinaoui Ben Ali, the Ambassador of Tunisia to Romania.
The President of the University of Carthage from Tunisia, Mrs. Nadia Mzoughi Aguir, also attended the meeting and signed an Agreement of Cooperation, in support of the development of the academic relations between the two universities.

The representatives of the embassies of Albania, Lebanon and Egypt paid a visit to UPB.
During the meetings, UPB proposed a series of partnerships to identify the needs of international students, but also the solutions that can be implemented during their stay in Romania.

Between August 23-29, 2021, University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, in partnership with Groupe INSA, will organize the second edition of the Summer School "The path from smart buildings to smart cities". The event will take place within UPB and will be dedicated to undergraduate and master's students, eager to explore and find creative solutions in the field of sustainability.
The program will include lectures by specialists in the field from UPB, Groupe INSA and partner companies. Students will visit the university's laboratories, Romania's important cultural objectives, participate in workshops and create projects for the sustainable future of smart cities.\

CESAER Symposium on Advancing European Universities
CESAER organised the exclusive Symposium on Advancing European Universities for its Members and other TU associations.
[The event was dedicated to furthering the development of the European Universities initiative and defining the role of the alliances in the higher education transformation.
During the event, the UPB Rector, Mr. Mihnea Costoiu, discuss about the sustainable funding opportunities at the local, regional and national level.

Preparatory Year - Romanian Language at UPB
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
This study program is aimed at foreign students who do not speak Romanian and wish to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
The course lasts an academic year (two semesters). After passing the exams in all studied disciplines, at the end of the preparatory year the students receive a graduation certificate, necessary to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Romania.
