ERASMUS+ OPEN DOORS
On March 09, University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest organized a webinar to present the ERASMUS+ program for the incoming students. Mr. Mihnea Costoiu, the UPB Rector, together with H.E. Mrs. Laurence Auer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Romania, H.E. Mrs. Füsun Aramaz, the Ambassador of Turkey to Romania, Mr. Pablo Diez, Education Counsellor of the Embassy of Spain in Romania and Gabriel Jiga, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator has addressed the students and emphasized the benefits of student mobility and the importance of multicultural awareness.

A peek into the UPB study programs
Between 1st and 5th of March, The Department of International Relations organized webinars with the support of the academic staff to present the programs in foreign language. We had participants from international universities interested in our Master programs, but also Romanian high school pupils who want to join a foreign language bachelor program. It was the 1st information webinar out of a session of 3 such activities, and we were glad to see a large number of participants, future members of UPB’s academic community.

On April 9, University Politehnica of Bucharest and the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania organized the Student Sports Competition.
Romanian and International Students from the University Politehnica of Bucharest, the University of Bucharest, the Babes-Bolyai University, and the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca entered a fun, spectacular and very safe competition of football and table tennis.
The event ended with 3 winning teams and lots of laughs and memories.

,University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and the Embassy of Palestine organized on March 20 an event dedicated to the Celebration of Palestinian Women's Day.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the participants, ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps and students and we hope that such events will continue.
UPB's core values are community, diversity and these events are about tolerance, openness and embracing the other.

The course will be held at the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages starting with the next academic year.

Preparatory Year - Romanian Language at UPB
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
This study program is aimed at foreign students who do not speak Romanian and wish to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
The course lasts an academic year (two semesters). After passing the exams in all studied disciplines, at the end of the preparatory year the students receive a graduation certificate, necessary to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Romania.
